Rodney Muller

MONTICELLO, IOWA Rodney J. Muller, 44, of Monticello, died Friday, July 29, 2016, at his home. Visitation will be held from 2 – 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3, 2016 at the Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello. A Celebration of Rod’s life will be held at 10:30 am Thursday, Aug. 4, 2016 at the Kramer Funeral Home in Monticello. Mike Martin will officiate. Rodney was born June 21, 1972, in Monticello, Iowa the son of Gerald and Lorena (Donovan) Muller. Rod worked on his family farm with his brother, Randy, and the Stadtmueller’s. He was very generous with the gift of his time and talents, constantly lending a helping hand. He cherished his daughter, Madison, of whom he often spoke highly and was the light of his life. Rod was a man who honored his faith, family, and friends and will be missed by all. He is survived by his daughter, Madison Muller of Ames, his father, Gerald Muller of Monticello, siblings: Maureen DeShaw of Delhi, Randy (Denise) Muller of Monticello, Jolynn Covington, and Ronnie Muller, both of Cedar Rapids; Madison’s mother, Amy Muller of Council Bluffs; several nieces and nephews.
