Obituary Roland Emory Hansel, 75, or your may have known him as Gano, Boise, Sonny or Uncle, of Guttenberg passed away Monday, July 30, 2018, at his farm on Miners Creek. Roland then attended Guttenberg Public School, graduating in 1961. He worked at various places in Guttenberg, including Hilton Homes and Products Unlimited, along with pursuing his lifelong passion of farming. Roland was a cantankerous character, always laughing and telling stories. He enjoyed his life on the farm, all thou he always said, "Everything had to be done the hard way." He also had a love for his cattle and John Deere tractors. Roland loved telling old stories even though most of us heard them a thousand times. He liked to keep the past alive. Later in life he had greater appreciation of wildlife and nature.
