Ronald Alvin Bahls

Obituary Ronald Alvin Bahls, age 70, of Garnavillo, IA, died Friday, January 10, 2020, at Scenic Acres in Saint Olaf, IA. He was born on January 19, 1949, the son of Alvin & LaVonne (Geuder) Bahls. Ronald was baptized & confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Garnavillo and attended Central Community School in Elkader where he graduated with the class of 1968. After graduation Ron farmed with his father and later he farmed with his brother Richard till 2000 when he moved to Garnavillo with his parents. After retiring Ron worked part time with Wikner Farms & The Hog Buying Station. He resided at Scenic Acres for the past 6 years. Ron is survived by his brother Richard (Karon) Bahls of Elkader; sister Rosemary (Leonard) Ohrt of Garnavillo; nephews, Douglas (Jennifer) Bahls of Coal Valley IL, Michael (friend Samantha Gerner) of Edgewood, Gregory (Jessica) Bahls of Manchester & Steven (Lori) Ohrt of Cedar Rapids; one niece, Jill Ohrt of Garnavillo; 5 great nieces; 5 great nephews and many other relatives and friends.
