NEW VIENNA, IOWA Rose Marie Clemen, 75, of New Vienna, Iowa died December 18, 2012, at her home surrounded by her family after a brief bout with cancer. Friends may call from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Friday, December 21, 2012, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville where a vigil service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, December 22, 2012, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Vienna, Iowa with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. John O'Connor will officiate. Rose Marie was born October 23, 1937 in Cascade, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence and Marie (Polfer) Sadler. She married Edwin Clemen on June 7, 1961, in Fillmore, Iowa. She was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening and canning, sewing and quilting, and going fishing. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of the St. Boniface Altar Society. Survivors include her husband, Edwin, 4 children: Ron (Linda) Clemen of Dyersville, Tom (Vivian) Clemen of New Vienna, Sherri (Ronnie) Wolf of Bankston and Terry (Lisa) Clemen of Dyersville; 9 grandchildren: Justin Clemen, Jesse and Jackie Clemen, Josh Thibadeau, Kaci and Ryan Wolf and Michelle (Shawn) Breitbach, Lexi and Maci Clemen; 3 great grandchildren: Luke, Ella and Erin Breitbach; 6 siblings: Raymond (Irma) Sadler of East Dubuque, IL, Carlyn Dotterweich of Monticello, Helen (Virgil) Gaul of Dubuque, Doloras (Eugene) Ginter of Dickeyville, WI, Inez (Leo) Kinsella of Bernard and Joanne (George) Bergfeld of Peosta; brothers-and-sisters-in-law: Kathleen (Albert) Trenkamp of Dyersville, Virginia (Bill) Juran of Holy Cross, LaVonne Clemen of Holy Cross, Madonna (John) Weimerskirch of St. Catherine, Mary Clemen of Hendersonville, TN, Grace Clemen of Dubuque and Roger (Janey) Clemen of Holy Cross. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother, James Sadler and 5 brothers-in-law: Andy Dotterweich, Leon Clemen, Ambrose Clemen, Cletus Clemen and Leon Wedewer.
