Rose Putz

DELHI, IOWA Rose A. Putz, 53, of Delhi died Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015 at Regional Medical Center in Manchester after a courageous battle with cancer. Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville where a parish vigil service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Visitation will continue Monday from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. at Kramer Funeral Home prior to funeral services. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Nov. 2, 2015, at SS. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, Petersburg, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. John Kremer will officiate. Rose was born July 30, 1962, in Manchester, Iowa the daughter of Walter and Agnes (Bockenstedt) Putz. She was a 1980 graduate of Beckman H.S. Rose worked as a Nanny for many years. She was an avid amateur photographer, taking photos of her family and friends She was a member of the Delhi Women’s Club. Survivors include her longtime fiancé, Robert “Budda” Hittenmiller of Delhi, her mother, Agnes Putz of Dyersville, siblings: Kathy (Gary) Willenborg of New Vienna, Diane (Jim) Hoeger of Earlville, Betty (Bill) Wessels of Dyersville, Charles Putz of Heartland, MI, Lois (Mike) Steger of Dyersville, Ed (Janet) Putz of Petersburg, Leo (Tammy) Putz of Farley, Mike (Shelley) Putz of Monroe, WI, and many nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her father, Walter Putz, one brother, Marvin Putz, a sister-in-law, Maria Putz, grandparents: Anton & Marcella (Kruse) Putz, William F. & Minnie Bockenstedt; nieces, Laura and Marsha Willenborg.
