Rosella Mrs

Mrs. Gotto was born August 8, 1921 in Farley, Iowa, the daughter of Chris and Mary (Schmitt) Hoefer. She married Cletus Gotto on May 25, 1949 in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Farley, Iowa. She graduated from St. Joseph High School. Rosella loved gardening, baking and quilting. She was a member of the Holy Cross Altar and Rosary Society and the Farley Catholic Daughters of America. Survivors include her husband Cletus of Holy Cross. 1 son, James Gotto of Holy Cross. 3 daughters, Elizabeth Gotto of Holy Cross, Shirley (Tom) Simon of Farley, IA and Linda (Martin) Bahl of Asbury, IA. 9 grandchildren, Jeremy, Matt, Mark, Joshua Simon, Katie, Julie, Sarah, Rebecca and Michael Bahl. One sister, Catherine (Clarence) Pins of Farley, her mother-in-law, Catherine Gotto of Guttenberg, IA, sisters and brothers- in-law, Mary Jane Anthony of Holy Cross, IA, Ralph and Nancy Gotto of Burnsville, MN and Grace Gotto of Bankston. Rosella was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Frank, Lawrence and Cletus Hoefer and 2 sisters, Marcella Mueller and Mildred Bell.
