Roy F. Eulberg was born June 8, 1932, the son of Henry and Elsie (Bittner) Eulberg, in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin. He died Tuesday, January 27, 2009, at the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Roy graduated from the Garnavillo High School in 1948; farmed; worked for the John Deere Works in Dubuque and Heartland Trucking Co. for many years. He is survived by his wife and love of his life Mary (Fangmann) Eulberg, his children Marcus (Ellen) Eulberg of Cedar Rapids, Matthew (Diana) Eulberg of Marion, Jason (Kristine) Eulberg of Mc Gregor, Theodore (Sharon) Berns of Garnavillo, Michael Berns of Swisher, Ann (Dan) Fountain of Iowa City, Richard (Debra) Berns of Cedar Rapids, Jane (Jeff) Scherf of Cedar Rapids, Christopher (Shirley) Berns of Midland, Texas; Twelve beautiful, loving grandchildren; Ten adorable great-grandchildren , and brothers, Phil (Rita) Eulberg and John "Jack" Eulberg of Garnavillo. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Anita, Sister, Jean Marie, and twin sister Ruth, four brothers, Richard, Donald Bill, Frank and; one grandchild, Lonnie Berns and one great grandchild, Makenzie Ward. Roy was loved dearly by Mary and all of his family and friends and will be missed greatly. We will be waiting for him to send us a sign when the red horse are biting.
