Ruth Wroblewski

MONTICELLO, IOWA Ruth L. Wroblewski, 83, of Monticello died Tuesday, Apr. 7, 2015, at home surrounded by her family. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 11, 2015, at Oakwood Cemetery in Monticello. Kramer Funeral Home is assisting the family. Ruth was born Aug. 29, 1931 in Monticello the daughter of Alfred and Grace (Tapken) Ommen. She graduated from Monticello High School with the Class of 1950. She married and later divorced. She worked for Rockwell Collins and retired in 1988. Ruth is survived by 3 children: Steven Wroblewski and Starr (Daniel) Porter, both of Monticello, and David (Cindy) Wroblewski of Cedar Rapids; 7 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren; a sister, Helen Dirks of Monticello.
