SOLON, IOWA

Sage L. Witham, 17 of Solon, Iowa passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2023 at MercyOne Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa.

Visitation will be held from 3 - 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Morris Funeral Home in Guttenberg. Visitation will continue at St. John’s Lutheran Church from 9 - 10 a.m. prior to funeral services.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 10 , 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Guttenberg, Iowa with burial to follow in Guttenberg City Cemetery. Pastor Michael Ashman will officiate.

Sage was born on September 16, 2005 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Travis and Kara (Grimsled) Witham.

Sage enjoyed being startled by loud noises that would make her laugh until she cried and also all the hugs she received from mom and dad. She liked to listen to country music and really enjoyed sleeping in as a teenager.

Survivors include her parents, Travis and Kara Witham of Solon; siblings: Garret and Payton; paternal grandparents, Glenn and Donna Witham of Guttenberg; maternal grandparents, Douglas and Gail Grimsled of Viroqua, WI, and many uncles, aunts and cousins.
