Sandra Rollinger

CASCADE, IOWA Sandra S. Rollinger, 72, of Cascade and Mesa, AZ, died Saturday, Apr. 18, 2015, at Banner Heart Hospital in Mesa. Friends may call from 8:30 - 11:00 a.m. Thursday, April 30, 2015, at St. Matthias Catholic Church in Cascade where a Mass of Christian Burial will commence at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Douglas Loecke will officiate. Inurnment will be at St. Matthias Cemetery in Cascade at a later date. Sandy was born January 12, 1943, in Dubuque, IA, the daughter of Dale and Bernita (Kunnen) Massey. She graduated from Wahlert High School with the Class of 1961. She married Richard Carr in 1965, at Cascade. He preceded her in death. She later married James Rollinger in December, 1980, in Cascade. Sandy is survived by her husband, Jim, 2 sons: Craig Carr of Mesa, AZ and Shawn (Linda) Carr of Cascade, IA; a step-daughter, Janet (Kevin) Schockemoehl of Cascade, IA; grandchildren: Zayne (fiancé Juliana Figueroa) Carr of Mesa, AZ, Kevin, Maggie, Jack and Riley Carr, Ryan Schockemoehl and Eric Schockemoehl, all of Cascade, IA, and Lisa Schockemoehl of DesMoines, IA; five great grandchildren; 2 sisters, Barbara VanBlarcom of Dubuque, IA, and Donna Brandel of Mesa, AZ; in-laws: Delores Their of Dyersville, IA, Marie (Earl) Wagner of Cascade, IA, Bob (Lynn) Rollinger of Hopkinton, IA, Ronnie (Diane) Rollinger of Bernard, IA, Betty (Richard) Knapp of Bernard, IA, Mary Meyers of Dubuque, IA and Joe Pfohl of Dubuque, IA. She is preceded in death by her parents, her first husband, Richard Carr, a sister, Judy Pfohl, a brother, Duane Massey, and 2 brothers-in-law: James VanBlarcom and Joseph Their. Memorials are preferred.
