Sheila Ridgeway

Sheila Mae E. Ridgeway, 76 of Dubuque, and formerly of Dyersville, Iowa passed away Thursday, July 31, 2019, at Stonehill Care Center, Dubuque, Iowa. Visitation will be held from 9 – 11 a.m. Friday, August 9, 2019, at Kramer Funeral Home, 750 12th Ave SW in Dyersville. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday, August 9 2019, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica in Dyersville with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Dennis Quint will officiate. Sheila was born January 23, 1943 in Dubuque, Iowa the daughter of Paul and Elvera (Schlichte) Curtis. She married and later divorced Richard Little. She married Robert Ridgeway in Dubuque, and moved to Dyersville where they managed the Super 8. They then moved to Dubuque where Sheila was an in-home caregiver. She was an avid BINGO player. Later Sheila married Robert Ridgeway on December 10, 1980 in Dyersville, Iowa. He recently preceded her in death in May 16, 2019. Survivors include her children: Jeff (Tracy) Little of Dubuque, Jody (Nicki) Little of Las Vegas, NV, step-children: Jackie Jay of Holt, FL, Carol (Mark) Cooper of Sevierville, TN, Norma Jean (Casey) Muntz of Guttenberg, Rob (Mary) Ridgeway Jr. of Dubuque, 4 grandchildren: Heather, Brandon, Kaetlyn and Zachary Little; siblings: Diane Courtney (friend, Tim O’Mara), Alan (Mary Kay) Curtis and Yvonne Younes, all of Dubuque, Gene (Julie) Curtis of Marion; 19 step-grandchildren and 9 step-greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Richard Little, second husband, Robert Ridgeway, a sister, Barbara (Ed) Kirner, and a brother-in-law: Karl (Maggie) Hoffman.
