Steven Frericks

Steve was born on May 12, 1953 in Manchester, Iowa, the son of Elmer and Velma (Sabers) Frericks. He was a truck driver who spent the past 16 years with Bard Materials in Dyersville. Steve loved to fish and spend time with his family and friends. Survivors include his children, T.J. (Shauna) Frericks and Jeff Frericks, both of Aurora, CO, Keenan Frericks of Hopkinton, 4 grandchildren, his mother, Velma Frericks of Dyersville, 1 brother, Kevin (Patty) of Dyersville, 2 sisters: Patty (Mark) Leuchs of Dyersville and Amy (Brian) Leigh of Maple Park, IL, a special friend, Dora Schaffer of Swisher, IA, 3 step-children, Tanya and Tesa Maloney, both of Hopkinton, and Tina (Doug) Waggoner of Cedar Rapids, 6 step-grandchildren and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Elmer two brothers, Tom and Jim. Friends may call from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2010, at Kramer Funeral Home in Dyersville, Iowa where a parish scripture service will be held at 4:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 16, 2010, at St. Francis Xavier Basilica, Dyersville, Iowa with burial in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Dennis Quint.
