Susan Lynn Hefel

Obituary Susan Lynn Hefel, age 61, of Guttenberg, IA, died Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital in Guttenberg, IA. She was born the 17th day on a cold January morning in 1961 to Ronald and Edna (Reinker) Houselog at Finley Hospital in Dubuque Sue was one of 6 children. On August 13th Sue was married to the man that she was meant to spend the rest of her life with, and on that day she married Dan Hefel at their home. She spent her married life taking care of what she loved the most, her family and friends. Left to honor and cherish her memory is her husband of 33 years Dan, one son Jesse; mother, Edna Houselog; her siblings; Daniel (Joan) Houselog, Rick (Carol) Houselog, Randall (Nancy) Houselog, and Tine (Chris) Gau; Sister-In-Law Debbie Houselog, along with many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Sue is preceded in death by her father Ronald Houselog, one brother Ronald Houselog Jr. In Lieu of flowers and all other types of memorials the family ask that all memorials be directed to a memorial fund that will be established in Susans name.
