Tracy Werges

Obituary Tracy L. Werges, age 59, of Garnavillo, IA, passed away Sunday, August 23rd, 2020, at his home. Tracy was born in Prairie du Chien, Wisconsin on January 6, 1961, the son of Raymond Jr. and Ruth Werges. He was raised and lived in the Garnavillo area his entire life. Tracy was united in marriage to Cheri Berns on August 11th, 1984. Three children were born to this union. Tracy spent most of his career in insurance. In his free time he enjoyed working on projects around the house, mowing lawn and volunteering his time helping others. Most of all he cherished his time with his family, especially his three beloved grandchildren. Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 36 years Cheri; three children Tim (Jamie) Werges, Kate (Zach) Mueller, Josh Werges; grandchildren Maeve and Jett Mueller, Nile Werges; siblings; Bill (Friend Bev Wirkler) Werges, Clark (Claudia) Werges, Kent (Cindy) Werges, Paula (Friend Allen Adney) Hubbard, Gay (Lynn) Hallberg, Becky Bacon and Teresa (Kendall) Strauman plus many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Tracy was preceded in death by his parents. The family would like to thank the community for its out pour of support, but ask that you give them privacy and time to bear this devastating loss.
