Viola A Borcherding

Viola Anna Marie (Kregel) Borcherding was the daughter of Fred and Marie (Tuecke) Kregel, July 14, 1916, on the family farm near Osterdock. She died Saturday, October 15, 2005, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Viola received her education locally, farmed with her family and was a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed embroidering, crocheting, cards, and cooking. On July 14, 1937, she was united in marriage with Delbert Borcherding at Trinity Lutheran Church in Guttenberg. She is survived by two daughters, Darlene (Lyle) Glawe of Garnavillo, and Janet (Jim) Solomon of Guttenberg; three sons, Harvey (Eldoris) Borcherding, and Bernell (Helen) Borcherding both of Garnavillo, and Dennis Borcherding of Guttenberg; twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; three Step Grandchildren, and four step great grandchildren, and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Delbert; and one brother, Floyd Kregel.Visitation: 4:00-7:00 P. M.
