Viola Winter

Viola Eva (Scheller) Miller Winter was the daughter of Andrew and Philomena (Endress) Scheller, born May 28, 1914, near Luxemburg, Iowa. She died Sunday, February 13, 2005, at Guttenberg Municipal Hospital. Viola received her education from Holy Trinity Catholic School in Luxemburg; worked for American Pearl Button Co.; Muters Co Original Enders Co.; Hilton Homes Co. and a homemaker for many years. She enjoyed dancing; quilting; cards; bingo; and was a member of St. Annes Society. Those left to cherish her memory are three daughters, Rosalie (Loris) Kickbush of Guttenberg, Linda (Ron) Dietzenbach of Riverside, California, and Kay (Ralph) Livingston of Guttenberg; one son, Alphonse (Jean) Miller of Phoenix, Arizona; grandchildren, Diane (fianc Dan Glassmaker) Elsinger, Dave (Deb) Kickbush, Deb Kickbush (friend Manny Dickerson), Tricia (Doug) Beem, Sharon Dietzenbach, Gwyn Livingston (friend, Jeff Fisher), Michelle (Bryan) Fortino, Derrick Livingston; step grandchildren, Catherine Barnum and James (Patti) Smith; great-grandchildren, Matt Elsinger, Adam Kickbush, Whitney Kickbush, Caitlin Beem and Nicholas Beem; three step great-grandchildren, Susan Barnum, Jason Smith and Kyle Smith, and one great great-grandson, Skyler Achenbach.; two sisters, Ann (Byron) Olinger of Guttenberg, and Kate Pottebaum of Dyersville, two sisters-in-law. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Alphonse Miller and Phil Winter; two brothers, Joseph and Ambrose Scheller and two sisters, Evelyn Graver and Frances Thomas.
