Violet Elizabeth White

Violet E (Bittner) White was born the daughter of Realto and Augusta (Anderson) Bittner on November 27, 1910 in Superior Wisconsin. She peacefully passed away on Friday, February 17, 2006, at the Guttenberg Care Center. Violet graduated from the Guttenberg High School in 1928 and went on to teaching country school for 4 years. On June 17, 1933 she was united in marriage with Reuben White in Galena Illinois. Later they were blessed with one daughter Joann. Together they lived on a farm near Osterdock and finally bought a farm near Garnavillo, where they lived till 1970, and finally moved to Guttenberg. Violet was very proud to have been a homemaker for over 50 years, making a good life for her husband and daughter. Violet will by sadly missed by her daughter Joann; four grandchildren, Mark Mesenbring, Kurt (Tammie) Mesenbring, John (Elizabeth) Mesenbring, Karen (Jonathon) Dry; five great grandchildren, Alexa, Grace, Kate, Kaitlyn, Lauren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one sister, Roma Minger and son in law Hilton Mesenbring.Visitation: 4:00-7:00 P.M.
