Wesley A. Spiker

Wesley Allen Spiker, age 47, of rural Garnavillo, died Sunday, August 26, 2012, near Garnavillo as a result of an auto accident. He was born the son of James W. and Dorothy (Meyer) Spiker, July 7, 1965 in Guttenberg. Wes graduated from the Garnavillo High School, worked for Nordic Forge Incorporated and was a pilot for the Clayton Tug Service for many years. He enjoyed playing high school basketball, hunting and fishing. He is survived by two sisters, Janice Krugger and Beverly Wirkler both of Garnavillo; three brothers, James (Vicki) Spiker of Garnavillo, Lavern (Mary) Spiker of Guttenberg, and David (Wanda Echard ) Spiker of Garnavillo; friend, Connie Gioimo, of Dyersville and many relatives and friends.
