William Alfred Lundt

William Alfred Lundt was born on December 26, 1933 on the family farm near Osterdock to Herbert and Cora (Morarend) Lundt. He died Thursday, February 18, 2010, at his home in Garnavillo, after a sudden illness. William was baptized at St. Johns Lutheran Church in Guttenberg on January 26, 1934 by Rev. W. J. Adix. He was confirmed at St. Johns, March 21, 1948 by Rev. William Domers. William served his country in the U.S. Army from 1954 till 1956 where he was honorably discharged. On June 22, 1955, William was united in marriage to Janet White. To this union 4 children were born, Deborah, Denise, Bryon and Richard. William farmed for 36 years with his family which was a great joy to him but he also made time for hunting. William is survived by his wife Janet; 4 children, Deborah Schlueter, Denise (Ron) McWilliams, Bryon (Caroline) Lundt and Richard Lundt; grandchildren, Michelle, Amy and Josh Schlueter, Kristin and Sean McWilliams, Jenny, Amanda and Travis Lundt and Dustin Lundt; 5 great grandchildren, Easton and Braxton Cook, Landon Harbaugh, Dillon Schlueter and Stormie Feezer; one sister Eunice Kraus.
