Yvonne G. Borman

Obituary Yvonne Gladys Borman, age 81, of Guttenberg, IA, died Saturday, November 27, 2021, at Guttenberg Care Center in Guttenberg, IA. Vonnie was born on July 12, 1940 in rural Garber to Raymond and Gladys (Willie) Moser. Vonnie received her education from the local country school. On June 27, 1959, she married the love of her life Donald "Butch" Borman, and to this union two boys were born; Darren and Kelly Borman. Vonnie spent many years working for the Guttenberg School system as a Librarian. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to auctions and cooking. Vonnie spent many years teaching Sunday School, and volunteering within the community. Left to cherish her memory is her son Darren; granddaughters: Katie (Bill) Kinnunen, Jill (Devin) Emens; great grandchildren; Mason Emens, Charlie Kinnunen; and two twin Kinnunen babies on the way; siblings Ronnie "Bump" (Chris) Moser, Elaine (Bill) Blanchard, and many nieces, nephews relatives and friends. Vonnie is preceded in death by her parents Raymond and Gladys, husband Butch in 2006, son Kelly in 2018, sister Charlene Moser Harbaugh.
